  Unfriendly reception and wrong description

  The reception staff were quite cold, which did not feel like the traditional Japanese hospitality we expected. Although they were not Japanese, that should not be an excuse for being unfriendly when dealing with customers visiting Japan.   Beautiful views but very dated

  We stayed here for one night as part of our Japan tour. Unfortunately the key to our traditional ryokan inn room snapped off in the lock as we tried to enter the room and the situation could not be resolved quickly so we were moved to a western style room on the top floor which was very dated and very hot.   Wonderfu Location at Lake Kawaguchi

  Best thing about the hotel is the location. Wonderful viewpoint from the lake in front of the hotel. Room is very spacious though feels dated, which may appeal for travellers in search of more traditional rooms. Parking available in front of hotel.   This hotel has 3 blocks as it is set into a hill. The first block contains the lobby, then at the 5th floor you connect to the middle block (which faces Fuji directly) and contains rooms on the 6-7th floors.
