In advance of a cruise, my family stayed at Hotel New Grand for a few days. The location was convenient, the staff were extremely friendly and the accommodations were top notch. The room was very comfortable for the three of us. We had a cool corner room on a highfloor tower block which was amazing with.comfortable bedsThe views were lovely over looking the bay and the modern district. This was our 6th stay at the New Grand. It's where we always begin our Japan trip and end it also. We stayed a total of 11 nights on this most recent trip. We always book a Tower Bay View room and it is just fabulous. The view during daytime is beautiful but it's breathtaking at night overlooking the harbor all lit up. Most excellent service, accouterments, room, and views. This is a grand hotel without the price tag. So glad we chose to stay. The Western breakfast was excellent.
