    In advance of a cruise, my family stayed at Hotel New Grand for a few days. The location was convenient, the staff were extremely friendly and the accommodations were top notch. The room was very comfortable for the three of us. The hotel was on the water and near a beautiful park, which we frequented during our stay.

    We stayed at this hotel pre and post cruise on diamond princess spring flower circle cruise. We had a cool corner room on a highfloor tower block which was amazing with.comfortable bedsThe views were lovely over looking the bay and the modern district. The hotel is in a prefect location in front of yashimata park and within walking distance to other places like red brick warehouse cup noodles museum montinmachd street etc. There is two supermarkets two blocks behind new grand. The hotel is very comfortable and homely. The breakfast was excellent we had s monte cristo breakfast twice highly recommended. There is 4 restaurant in the hotel and we had delicious meals for 3 nights and we had a meal in chinatown whic is a 5 minutes walk behind the hotel. We got a taxi to sankien gardens which was exvellent lots of cherry blossoms were out. The staff was very good and helpful. It is an excellent hotel for yokohma and we walk to the cruise port in 13 minutes. Really enjoyed our stay there and eould come back here if doing a cruise to japanJapan is an amazing country. Highly recommended.

    Beautiful hotel, amazing staff!

    This was our 6th stay at the New Grand. It's where we always begin our Japan trip and end it also. We stayed a total of 11 nights on this most recent trip. We always book a Tower Bay View room and it is just fabulous. The view during daytime is beautiful but it's breathtaking at night overlooking the harbor all lit up. We have spent many hours enjoying that view. Equally important to us is the amazing staff. To see other reviews say anything negative about staff responsiveness is quite surprising to me and I wonder if it is based on misunderstanding. The concierge service is just amazing and really made our trip extra special this time, getting us reservations in a restaurant we thought would be impossible to get. It was only through her determination that she was able to obtain them and make my birthday extra special. We will never forget her helpfulness.

    I and my wife stayed there for a week. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. And good location specially for the cruise people .only 5min away cruise terminal. And station is very close...thank you very much for all the staff. In sha allah. We'll come back again.....

    Most excellent service, accouterments, room, and views. This is a grand hotel without the price tag. So glad we chose to stay. The Western breakfast was excellent. And, yes they have face wash cloths in the room. What a place.
