The best choice!
I much enjoyed a three-night stay in a spacious and pleasant double room - my eighth time at this hotel. I keep returning because of all the advantages - lovely views, helpful and efficient staff, good food, comfortable and practical accommodation, and the perfect location. The JR Station is just across the plaza, Takamatsu Castle just across the road, the Seto Inland Sea and the port right there,… I much enjoyed a three-night stay in a spacious and pleasant double room - my eighth time at this hotel. Step back in time
This hotel is like a step back in time. I believe it opened in 2001 and it looks like it! It appears that the furnishing and decoration is the same as when it opened. There is nothing wrong with that of course, it just appears a little tired. The staff were nice and helpful when asked. We stayed in a Corner Deluxe room which was fairly spacious and quiet and comfortable enough and had a view over… This hotel is like a step back in time. Corner deluxe twin room??
The hotel is very grand and the location is excellent- across from both the train station and the ferry terminal. Our room was spacious and comfortable and I loved the pyjamas. I give this a four rating rather than a five because we did not get the view we paid for. Our bathroom overlooks the train station and the bedroom view had a sliver view of the port. The hotel is very grand and the location is excellent- across from both the train station and the ferry terminal. Very comfortable, great breakfast buffet
I was here for three nights, and booked the room directly through the hotel website, which worked well. Their website gives the best description of the available rooms. There is quite a variety of rooms in terms of size, so it's worth checking out the descriptions. My room was a deluxe single. It was quite large (certainly much larger than most single rooms in Japan), had a lot of USB outlets, a g… I was here for three nights, and booked the room directly through the hotel website, which worked well. Convenient with great views
Wonderful views over the Seto Inland Sea from rooms on the curved side of the building. Very convenient for the train station and for ferries to the island, such as Naoshima. Short walk to the main sights. Across the road from the castle gardem. Rooms themselves are OK, but old-fashioned. For example, there is a knob in the bathroom for controlling the TV sound. I didn't try it, and I assume it do… Wonderful views over the Seto Inland Sea from rooms on the curved side of the building.
