  Great location, decent hotel

  We loved this hotel, great location and decent space for quadruple beds. Design a bit old and classic, but they maintain it quite well. Too bad didn't have the chance to try their breakfast.Walking distance to Sapporo TV Tower and other tourist area. Will definitely stay here again.

  Nice enough hotel but in the winter they turn off the individual controls for the room air conditioning and centrally heat the whole hotel. It’s way too hot. The only way to try to get the room cooler is to open the window. Even that doesn’t work and it’s incredibly noisy with constant loud traffic noise and sirens all night. Poor.

  Staff are ALL friendly. Helpful. Polite. Courteous. Welcoming. The accommodations are clean. Some lovely thoughts including two pair (different sizes) of pyjamas. A little torch near your headboard. Writing material. A small fridge for drinks / food. I was in a single occupancy room and I had a double bed. Great mattress and fab pillows. My room had a desk, wardrobe and on-suite. A really large widescreen tv and a chair and table completed the set up. I read Japanese rooms are small, but this was more than adequate. I booked with breakfast and there’s a large selection of mostly Asian items (raw and cooked seafoods, curry, rice etc) with some western items. Maned Waffle and omelet stations. Loads of breads and fruits and juices and milks plus all the hot and cold drinks you’d expect. For me, the real star is the onsen. Free for guests it’s a great touch. I was there twice in two days. Such a vibe after a day’s adventure. There’s a convenience store bolted on to the building which is great for ‘bits’ and the hotel is centrally placed for the main attractions. For the cost, I couldn’t see how it’s anything other than a five. Great stay.

  Guest service is lacking. The staff at the front desk are not friendly and hospitable at all. The breakfast restaurant where there are older staff are more friendly and attentive to guests. Location is good but onsen is over crowded due to the smaller place with large number of rooms. And it closes early at 10 pm just when the guest will be back from the day activities. No chance to visit it if you spent your day out late. The food at the breakfast is the same variety for everyday. Nothing changes over the course of 4 nights we were there. The taste is somewhat not as nice as it looks. Mostly booked by tour operators for large groups.   Stylish hotel close to Sapporo Station

  Great location less than 10 minutes walk from Sapporo Station south exit. Spacious layout, nice décor and excellent city views from upper floors. Very good onsen and spa (massage) packages. Concierge were polite, helpful and had a good command of English and we appreciated the walking map/brochure to easily explore the city on foot. The Streetcar (tram) is close by which you can catch to the Mt Moiwa Ropeway. We would highly recommend this hotel to our family, friends and work colleagues.
