  It was a great choice if you have early flight and do not want to be rush or wake up early morning travel from other place from Hokkaido to airport. The room are good space and good cleanliness and the view from the window can see the airplane take off that was nice. The most I like is the Onsen at the airport that great . You must take before you leave Japan :)

  Convenient and Comfortable

  Stayed one night at the airport after arrival from Singapore rather than make way to the resort. Couldn’t be happier. Though note that there is another hotel at the International Terminal. So be sure to make your way to the domestic terminal to get to the hotel. Staff were as friendly as ever and the rooms look like they have been refurbished, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast is from 6 am till 9:15 am on level 3. No complains on the selection, which had a combination of Japanese/Asian and western fares. Even have soft ice cream for the young and the young at heart. For dinner, we walked back to the connected mall for our first Hokkaido meal of the trip. Plenty to choose from but don’t go too late. The room we were given faced the runway which gave perfect views of takeoffs and landings. Bathroom was well appointed with the usual amenities. We didn’t see an in-room safe though but has a fridge and two complimentary bottles of water. Wifi was easy to connect and speedy enough for our simple purpose. Check-out was quick and efficient. But do remember to return the keycards as otherwise the hotel will charge JPY2000 for each card lost or not returned. Will definitely stay again if need be.

  A Diamond in the Snow

  After a long day of traveling to Tokyo in the midst of a threat of a canceled connection to Sapporo due to snow, Air Terminal Hotel in the new Chitose Airport (Sapporo )was a welcomed relief!The room though small to American standards was complete and attention was paid to the details. It was quiet and cool. We were able to open the window and we slept well. The bed was comfortable and pillows 2 standard and two grain type pillows. The tub and shower was furo style.The staff was attentive and helpful.They offered us buffet breakfast which we didn’t expect when will reserved the room. Buffet offerings were western and Japanese foods and soft serve ice cream! Wow for breakfast! Coffee was both expresso machine type and regular.There were an onsen but we didn’t have time to go since we arrived late and were delayed. We would definitely stay again at Air Terminal Hotel if we ever come this way again!!

  Ideal for early flight

  This is a great place to stay at, if you have an early morning flight to catch. Else consider staying at Sapporo or Chitose city.The management needs to review its practice of shutting the restaurant gate even though it’s not end of breakfast timing yet. After shutting the gate, the staff also did not put up a notice nor notify breakfast guests on where to exit. Such practice does give guests a bad impression especially when it’s in the hospitality business.

  Convenient but expensive

  The convenience of being in the same terminal to catch an 7 AM flight is the best thing about the hotel. That convenience comes at a cost. The rooms are clean and well furnished. It was somewhat cosy for 3 people, but since it was only for a night we did not mind. The breakfast was not very impressive though
