  I like good design so I just had to stay at Il Palazzo at the end of my two week trip to Kyushu. It’s stunning. The attention to detail throughout was remarkable.   Fantastic hotel.. The building itself is unique, even the entrance is quirky - a subterranean corridor lit in blue that leads you (by lift) to the main lobby in the basement.   We chose this hotel because we stayed at one of the company’s other hotels, The Knot in Hiroshima, and had such a wonderful experience; their staffer Charlie recommended we stay at Il Palazzo and we were grateful he did.
