Huge fire safety risk
Centrally located ordinary hotel. The room is very small even for Asian standards and the bathroom even smaller. We were on the top floor and wanted to take the stairs downstairs. We found that the stairwell was locked. When we inquired at the hotel desk the clerk said that they stayed locked and if there is a fire the staff will come upstairs and get the guests. Just 1 min walk from Fukui station. Bus and taxi stops just at a corner. You can drop the baggage and go meeting directly. Many shops and mall around. It’s very convenience for a business guy. I had booked 2 twin adjoining rooms, which gave us each a bathroom and a bit more space. We arrived earlier than book-in time but paid a nominal fee and they let us in to our rooms early. Beds were very comfortable and we both managed to sleep decently.
