The grounds of this hotel are just steps from the kilometre-long white sandy beach. This welcoming hotel enjoys a central location close to everything that Syracuse has to offer. It is about 11 km to Rick's café and shopping may be enjoyed on Times Square, which is 7 km away. Typically national art is to be found at the craft market 9 km away.

Guests have a choice of 3 suites, 59 single rooms and 3 double rooms. This resort has a lift and a 24-hour reception desk. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park (no extra charge). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hairdresser.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan. A balcony or terrace is a standard feature of some rooms. Rooms include a king-size bed. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The resort has non-smoking rooms.

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball, volleyball, golf and fishing or, for a fee, horse riding, are offered at the complex. With water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and a solarium. Subject to charge: a beauty salon. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café, a bar and a pub. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. At breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the delicious buffet or order a set menu for dinner. Staff are also happy to provide gluten-free meals. The resort also offers snacks. For guests, alcoholic beverages are included.

We booked Sunset at the Palms with a relaxing, peaceful vacation in mind, and it absolutely delivered. This place is a true gem: intimate, quiet, and small (only ~80 rooms).If you’re looking for a laid-back vacay with no booming pool music, low-key nightlife, and a place to truly unwind, this place is perfect. We spent 12 nights at this resort at the end of March 2026. This was our 2nd trip to Jamaica but the first to Negril for the famous white sand beach/crystal blue sea experience. On this point we were not disappointed, despite the beach being across the road. Beautiful resort in nature with some room for improvement

We stayed here with friends for ten days at the end of March and had a fabulous holiday in beautiful Jamaica. Firstly, I will say in our experience this is much more akin to a 3 star hotel than 4 star but we would still return, as the food and service were fantastic and the setting was peaceful and full of nature. We wanted to experience something different and this resort was up to the task. For vacationers looking for a different feel and atmosphere then this might be for them.
