    Fantastic hotel

    rating17 Mar 2026

Our family recently stayed at Rondel Village in a 2-bedroom beachfront villa, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The villa itself was incredibly spacious, and having a separate living room and kitchen area truly made a difference—it gave us room to relax and feel at home. The hot tub on the porch was such a nice touch and definitely appreciated after long days of walking and exploring. The beach area is smaller than what I’m used to along Seven Mile Beach, but honestly, it wasn’t an issue at all—we were always able to find chairs, which made it easy to enjoy the water and the view. The on-site restaurant was excellent. While service could be a bit slow at times, we didn’t mind one bit—it gave us more time to sit back, unwind, and take in the beautiful surroundings. What really stood out was the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the nightly entertainment, which is something we haven’t experienced at other smaller hotels on Seven Mile Beach. From live music to trivia night and even a performance by the Silver Birds, there was always something fun happening.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and our family is already looking forward to coming back. We’ll definitely be regulars from now on!

    Nice place

    rating25 Feb 2026

Great location, great staff, nice grounds, good restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, but extremely outdated. Also, it can be a bit noisy on the nights when the nightclub next door is open, but I don’t see what the hotel can do about that.

    Great experience

    rating24 Feb 2026

We went for 1 week with my elderly parents and my adult children to Rondel Village in Negril. The accommodations were very clean, the staff were friendly. Check in and check out were great. We loved our stay here. Staff made sure we were taken care of. The food was really good as well. We had the pool to ourselves most days, the beach was easy access. The lifeguard always made sure that we had chairs for our group of 6 people. I would highly recommend this place.

A Great Family Vacation at Rondel Village in Negril

    rating24 Feb 2026

Our family of six adults just returned from one week's stay at RV and would definitely recommend this resort to all. Check in was fast & efficient and our bags were taken to our rooms promptly. We stayed in the Garden area across the road from the main area, The security guard was always there to stop the traffic and get us across safely. We had a ground floor room which was clean and the beds were very comfortable, always had hot water for showering. We were supplied with two bottles of water on check in and after that would get our bottles filled at the reception area and get ice there, since the ice maker wasnt working in our part of the resort. The pool area was clean and very refreshing. We had a nice balcony area to sit in the shade and we utilized the pool area tables & chairs often after a day at the beach where we always were able to get enough loungers and umbrella's, thanks to the lifeguards on duty. The RV beach area is amazing and clean. We ate daily in the outside cafe/bar area for breakfast and lunch and the restaurant a couple of times. The food & service was good even though it took along time to come. The staff everywhere were very friendly and always greeted you on sight. We did not encounter any bad experiences in the week that we stayed at Rondel Village, our first time going non inclusive and at a much smaller resort. Was there lots of noise and music from the busy roadway and next door establishments, yes but we were able to sleep in our nice air conditioned room.

    Terrible Service and Tough Beds

    rating08 Jan 2026

I would strongly advise travelers to avoid Rondel Village. Our experience was marked by dishonesty, poor service, and unacceptable accommodation standards—especially disappointing given that we were celebrating my mother’s 90th birthday. We encountered a deceptive booking process, where the manager provided different quotes to different family members for the same stay. When we arrived at 3:00 p.m. for check-in, our group—including my 90-year-old mother—was left waiting until 7:30 p.m. to receive our rooms. This delay only ended after prolonged arguments with a booking agent who repeatedly changed explanations and terms. The so-called “beach villa” was neither peaceful nor comfortable. The bed was extremely hard, and the street noise was constant and intrusive—hardly what one expects from a beachfront property.Basic amenities were also lacking. There was no hot water in the showers or the jacuzzi tub, which is unacceptable for a resort at this price point.Guests should also be aware of the restaurant’s service charge practices. The service charge added to bills does not go directly to the servers, and staff do not receive the full amount if tips are added by card. If you choose to dine there and receive good service, tip your server in cash.Overall, this was a deeply disappointing and stressful experience, especially given the importance of the occasion we were there to celebrate. Rondel Village appears more focused on money extraction than genuine hospitality, and there was a complete lack of customer service or accountability.I would not return, nor would I recommend this property to others—particularly families, seniors, or anyone seeking a relaxing, honest resort experience.
