  A Gem in the Veneto — Hotel Campo Marzio Delivers

  If you're exploring Vicenza — and you absolutely should be — Hotel Campo Marzio deserves a serious look. We stayed here as part of a deeper dive into Palladio's extraordinary architectural legacy, and the hotel made an already wonderful trip even better.Location, Location, Location The hotel sits in a sweet spot: close enough to the historic center that you can stroll in on foot in just a few minutes, yet easy for those arriving by car. Parking was straightforward and stress-free — a genuine luxury in an Italian city center, making trips to the villas around Vicenza easy to make. The Room Spacious. Genuinely, refreshingly spacious. After squeezing into some creative interpretations of "standard double" rooms across Italy over the years, it was a pleasure to have actual room to move around. And the shower? Magnificent. It's a small thing, perhaps, but a great shower at the end of a long day of villa-hopping is pure joy.Breakfast Solid, satisfying, and well-presented. Enough variety to keep both the "just a cornetto" crowd and the heartier eaters happy. A good start to days that demanded a lot of walking.The Staff — The Real Star Everyone at Campo Marzio was friendly and genuinely helpful, but a special mention must go to Sarat, who worked the bar and seemed to materialize wherever he was needed. Warm, professional, and the kind of person who makes a hotel feel less like a transaction and more like a welcome. Bottom Line Hotel Campo Marzio punches well above its weight. Great location, comfortable and spacious rooms, a lovely breakfast, and staff who actually seem to enjoy their work.   Room table very small and not adapted for a comfortable working.   Very Good Hotel in Excellent Location

  This is an excellent hotel which ticks all boxes . Room was large & spacious with pristine well equipped bathroom . Decor is nice - modern with a traditional vibe . Downside was no mirror in bedroom although lots of scope for one . I’d have liked one over the desk . Didn’t like having to pay for water in room . Flimsy plastic cups very annoying too. Breakfast was good in a nice room although coffee not the best. Same coffee very expensive at the bar ! The reception staff were very pleasant and the hotels location is prefect - so near station and old centre .   The hotel has great location, just few steps from the main train station, and walking distance to centre, restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was excellent, the bathroom was large with windows and bidet. There is private parking in front of the hotel. The employees were nice. The only thing that I did not like was the breakfast - there were few choices and not very tasty.
