I have recently stayed at the Hotel Italia for 10 nights, under rather unfortunate circumstances. Great hotel. We stayed here for a week to explore Verona for the second time. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about buses and how to get around the city and beyond. Hotel ok but breakfast is painful. Continental breakfast that you have to ask for every single item from a frosty waiter. Hard work and not worth the effort.Night waiter was good and helpful.
