A grand hotel in a grand city
The hotel is situated just outside the old town of Verona which is very convenient for both getting into the old town and also for going to the bus and rail station which is only a 15 minute walk away. The hotel itself is a very grand (thus the name) and elegant building which may at one time have been a palazzo or, at least, a rich merchant’s house. There is a bar downstairs at reception where yo… The hotel is situated just outside the old town of Verona which is very convenient for both getting into the old town and also for going to the bus and rail station which is only a 15 minute walk away. Great find in Verona!
We used Verona as a hub for 5 nights.and it was perfect. I wasn't expecting much but hotel was charming, warm and in a fantastic location. The staff was great especially Mara and Emmanuel who helped with our check in and room requests.Great find in Verona Giovanni Maria Roberti, General Manager at Hotel Indigo Verona - Grand Hotel Des Arts by IHG, responded to this review Dear travelforbiz66,… We used Verona as a hub for 5 nights.and it was perfect. Lovely hotel, close to main attractions
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of our 2 week Italy break. Hotel is on a nice Rd and within 10 mins you are in the main Arena Square. Room was comfortable for 3 nights but on the small side so any longer it would have felt very claustrophobic. We were travelling with our 15 year old daughter and the sofa bed was comfortable as was our bed. Not much room in the bathroom for you… We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of our 2 week Italy break. Hotel is on a nice Rd and within 10 mins you are in the main Arena Square. The only slight problem is the lack of fresh fruit juice at breakfast as they only offer squash/cordial Giovanni Maria Roberti, General Manager at Hotel Indigo Verona - Grand Hotel Des Arts by IHG, responded to this review Dear S181XXronaldr,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback after your stay with us.I am delighted… Good location, clean rooms, good air conditioning. Pleasant stay - great staff
Nice location only a short walk from the train station and only a short walk to the colosseum and main touristy bits. Plenty of eating establishments nearby too.We arrived early and our room wasn't ready which was to be expected. After a sit down and a drink, we did the paperwork and went to head out. Reception stopped us and said they'd done a workaround and our room was indeed now ready.
