This ‘hotel’ is not four stars at all!! Is a dirty, filthy place that should have some health and safety inspectors as I am sure you can catch some nasty diseases too! I was really worried after booking this hotel and then seeing the reviews here. I was travelling alone with my 3 children and was relieved on checking in to discover we had a very comfortable room with working air con and a lovely big windows overlooking a farm. The shower could have done with an upgrade maybe, but it’s a budget hotel so we were not bothered. We stayed during a heatwave so the poo… I was really worried after booking this hotel and then seeing the reviews here. Location is perfect, central location in northern italy, easy acces to local supermarkets, gasstations. Villafranca itself is gorgeous and the people are so friendly.Atmospehere is nice, very friendly staff (yana, omar, simone, giorgio and the rest to deserve a raise). WORST EXPERIENCE EVER OF MY LIFE!

Absolutely disgusting. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There were cockroaches crawling around, rats running across the floor, and the whole place smelled awful. The tables were dirty, the service was painfully slow, and the food was cold and tasted terrible.The staff didn’t seem to care about any of the complaints, and the overall experience was shocking from beginning to end… Absolutely disgusting. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There were cockroaches crawling around, rats running across the floor, and the whole place smelled awful.
