The place might not be too bad, however the guests are confronted with a hostile attitude from the owners and staff. We look for the pet friendly hotel in Verona and we find Corte della Rocca Bassa. Before reservation we call in the hotel to ask them if is ok with them to have our 2 small shih tzu dogs in their hotel. They said is not a problem and that was all. We made our reservation. Calm small family owned Hotel. In a historique Building they created Nice Rooms ,....... everything needed is in the room.Located on landside approx 25/30 minutes to Go to Verona. This hotel is beautiful, the grounds, the buildings, the rooms cannot be faulted. The host Marcello was most helpful. The building has been restored with the upmost care and attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable, the room had everything we needed and was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast delicious, coffee was the nicest we had anywhere. Very close to the office I need to attend , value for money, neat clean rooms.
