Great location but ££££ and no way a 4* hotel
This hotel is on Venice's main island and a short walk from the Santa Lucia station so the location is great. Unfortunately, that's about where the positive review ends.The hotel cost £230 for one night (yes it was a busy period but before the biennale opened)…

No 4 star hotel.
There is NO way this should be a 4 star hotel. No better than a roadside motel. Very dated, poor maintenance, needs lots of work. Feeling fortunate it's only 2 nights or I would insist we move.

Five star location
Great location in Venice. Easy walking to most points. Lots of restaurants and Gilato just steps from the door. Very short walk to the train station.Although the room and lifts were small, the location made up for everything.Clean hotel with good breakfast.
