Stayed here for one night after our trip on the Bernina train. Bedroom for 3 people was very basic. Not much room at all and decor was quite depressing.The room was so hot with no air conditioning. We found a fan in the cupboard but it didn’t make much difference. We didn’t have great hopes booking Bernina Hotel, this being our stopover between Bernina Express and Gotthard Express trains. To our pleasant surprise the hotel exceeded our expectations. Best location if you want to stay close to the train station, less than 5 mins walk to the Tirano station. Very convenient to travel. Breakfast is fine, but restaurant in the hotel are good. Room is ok for 3 stars but amenities provide only shampoo/bath, body lotion and hand soap. No facial tissue that made me surprised.
