Cannot fault this hotel, booked a double room. Was able to pick my room before arrival which was a fun extra. Upon arrival had a great clean room with plenty of space - had water, toiletries and some chocolates waiting in our room which was a nice touch.Comfy beds / bedding.Bathroom was a great size, hairdryer in the room worked well, plenty of towels and robes should you wish to use them.Had a lo… Cannot fault this hotel, booked a double room. Stayed here on the first night of our Great Rail Journeys holiday. It's a spectacular hotel. We had a lovely big room spoilt somewhat by the fact it was too dark to appreciate it, no central light just tiny low wattage standard/table lamps. Thankfully the bathroom was lovely and bright. The shower pan wasn't installed properly; it creaked constantly when you stood on it, and old water leaked out from underneath when you stepped out.
