Highly recommended family break
Perfect 3 night break with my two children. I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews here and was bracing myself for 3 nights of poor sleep. However, we slept incredibly well and wasn't woken up by any noise even though our room overlooked the road, right by the traffic lights. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was always quiet and peaceful wit… Perfect 3 night break with my two children. FAWLTY TOWERS. No Air Conditioning, room was 30 degrees at one point.Freezing cold shower.Had to ask for toilet paper, shower gel ect to be replaced. No-one seemed to care when you made a complaint.FAWLTY TOWERS. No Air Conditioning, room was 30 degrees at one point.Freezing cold shower.Had to ask for toilet paper, shower gel ect to be replaced. Ideal location for exploring Lake Maggiore and area
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and would highly recommend this hotel for a short break. Location was ideal being only 300m walk from the small ferry boats that take you across to the Borromean islands or the larger boats that will take you up and down Lake Maggiore. A walk into Stresa old town is only 15 to 20 minutes along a beautiful lakeside promenade. Stresa railway station is only a 10-min… My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and would highly recommend this hotel for a short break. Pleasant but in need of improvements
Staff are lovely, friendly & helpful, especially Marcello on the bar however overall the hotel is rather tired and in need of some TLC - disappointing even whilst recognising the budget nature of our stay. Our bathroom door would stick open, sink was discoloured, marks on the wallpaper. Only 3 thin pillows between us. Noise was a significant factor, woken each morning and kept up at night by a… Staff are lovely, friendly & helpful, especially Marcello on the bar however overall the hotel is rather tired and in need of some TLC - disappointing even whilst recognising the budget nature of our stay. Nice hotel in a good location
First impressions were really good. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us plenty of information about the local area. We were really disappointed that the pool and pool area were closed, which we weren’t aware of when booking. There was nowhere outside to sit and relax. We asked if it was possible but it wasn’t. We had planned a sightseeing visit with some rest by the poo… First impressions were really good. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.
