We stayed at Hotel Athena for one night and, unfortunately, cannot recommend this hotel.Despite its excellent location, our experience was far below expectations. The breakfast was disappointing, with limited options, but the real problem was the appalling service at the reception desk.Emiliano, in particular, was extremely rude and unprofessional in his interactions with us. Great hotel for your Siena and Tuscany stay

This hotel was top-notch. Great staff. Lovely and spacious room and a great terrace with a beautiful view. It was also in a really good location and easy to walk to central Siena. Alice was wonderful and helped us book a day trip in Tuscany before we arrived. I would stay here again and recommend to others!!!This hotel was top-notch. Great staff. Upscale but quiet

This is an upscale hotel mere blocks from the Duomo and Palio but in a fairly quiet neighborhood. The restaurant was good as well with a head waiter that was very personable. Not a Great Value, Probably Better Choices in Siena

The rooms were dated and at 500 euros not a good value. They have a tiny rooftop bar and restaurant where the bartender wasn't interested in serving us drinks unless you have a table. Wonderful, beginning with warm and friendly check-in. Old hotel but with updated amenities, exceptionally clean, comfortable bed and linens, large thick bath towels. We stayed on a high floor so the air-conditioning was not great, but they brought us two fans which pull down the room and we kept the windows open at night. Breakfast buffet with various options.
