Value Messina Hotel
An excellent 3 star hotel and good value with large rooms and a great breakfast. Fresh fruit and pastries. Bathroom is a little tight like many in Italy but manageable with walk in shower. A must for mature travellers.

Great old hotel with good facilities and staff. Room and bathroom very clean.Comfortable bed , couch and chairs. Well laid out and spacious. Breakfast of good quality. Close to the station. Restaurants close by

Best shower in Sicily
This is a fine hotel that is handy to the station and the ferry. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good. Though personally I would prefer calm music with breakfast and not the disco that is currently playing. This hotel has the best shower in Sicily.
