We stayed few days in this beautiful hotel with their own beach, swimming pool on the roof floor, got nice “Aperitivo” there and than dinner on the sixth floor with an ocean view. Great experience at Grand Hotel Spiaggia in Alassio. The room was so spacefull and the view from the balcony made the ticket. Nice service and good food to the Six floor. Last day we went to the top floor to dinner and the atmosfere was so magic with candles and nice background music. Also the view was amazing. U can see all the cost from there. I will start with two positive things about this hotel: it’s clean and the staff is friendly. However it is way too overpriced for what it is. 226€ a night for mediocre room facing another building with no welcome free bottles of water, no bathrobes, no slippers no room service and very basic interior. 3rd year in Liguria, first time staying in Alassio. I cannot understand why everything is more expensive than in other places, 10-15 minutes away on the coast. It is more touristic, but that in fact is a disadvantage as there are huge crowds especially in the evening, you have to squeeze to pass by on the main shopping street.
