Location

This historic city hotel is located on Esquilin hill in the centre of Rome. Not one of the other hotels in the whole of Rome compares with this hotel. It is located in one of the wings of the Basilica Santa Croce monastery in Gerusalemme, a Cistercian monastery from 1561. The whole hotel breathes the thousand-year-old history of Rome and from the hotel terrace guests are offered a view of one of the oldest monuments of the city. There are various shops, bars, restaurants and public transport located in the surrounding area.

The hotel was built in 1700. The hotel has a lift and features 60 non-smoking rooms, including 7 single rooms and 40 double rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Although this hotel has a fascinating history . It is let down by it's lack of amenities. Rooms are very basic . No tea or coffee in rooms. Breakfast could be improved even a toaster would help...
