We enjoyed our stay at the Palace Hotel in Milano Marittima, and the staff were generally friendly and welcoming. However, in our opinion, the hotel itself does not fully meet the standard expected from a five-star hotel.Our room was very small for a family of four, and we felt overcrowded throughout our stay, the room booked was the only option with our travel agent . Excellent location, separated from its private beach by a narrow, 3-4 m promenade (pedestrian/bicycles only). Great shopping, restaurants only a 3 minutes walk from the hotel.Everything very clean, welcoming and pleasant/friendly atmosphere. We spent 4 nights there in mid/late September. The hotel and the area surrounding was very quiet, little atmosphere, even though it was still more than warm enough to sun-bathe. Very spacious and clean rooms, though choose a SOUTH facing room to maximise sunshine on the balcony. (They obligingly moved us on request). Breakfast was ok but certainly not 5-star.
