The Basilica of San Vitale with the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia is only about 10 minutes away on foot. We stayed here for a single night pre-cruise and found it ideal for our needs. Just steps from the train station and an easy walk into town for food. Booked the local shuttle to the ship and they picked us up from the lobby.
