Since staying here several years ago this has become a budget hotel no longer suitable for international tourists. On arrival no assistance with luggage. Then half hour wait at check while sole receptionist attended to a person looking for a job despite a queue of 4 people trying to check in. Awful skimpy breakfast. Automatic coffee machine only. I stayed for 3 nights during a business conference so possibly a bit hard to get a true reading but comments are as follows.The positive was definitely the conference facility in the lower ground floor. There were easy 200 of us.Also it’s a good location for the town centre. A nice walk through a park and you are there.Other than that the whole place feels very tired. This is really a business and conference venue so it has taken a beating since whenever it was last renovated.The location is in a part of town which appears to be struggling would be the most diplomatic explanation.
