Make this your BASE for nearby travel! Wonderful hotel, much better than others in this price point!!!
We stayed one night here and other nights in Modena and Bologna and we wish we had stayed all our nights here as our Base! The hotel is right at the train station for easy travel and NOT a feeling of insecurity for the location (unusual, as all other Italy train station areas we did not feel safe). Very clean and the price was great for this level of hotel. Despite being located near the railway station (and the population that comes with) the hotel is at 10mn walk from the center of the old town. Clean and comfortable, though spare, hotel on the outskirts of Parma. The AC worked well, which was very important during the heat wave. We had an issue with the shower draining the first day and they immediately sent someone up to fix it.Check-in was friendly, and the breakfast staff as well. Okish Hotel with bad smell and disappointing breakfast
The location is good: directly at the train station. But sometimes it is noisy and can wake you up at night.Rooms: ok and clean but not nice or comfy.Very negative is a horrible smell in the rooms. We changed directly after check in but the next room was the same. This is a huge drawdown for us.Breakfast: We tried it the first morning. They charge 18.5 Euro. My fair value is 5 to 8 Euro.
