Location

The hotel is located in the historical centre and only 500 m from the principal road Via Emilia, the characteristic Municipal Romolo Valli Theatre, the Civic Museums, the Parmeggiani Tunnel and from Sala del Tricolore (where the Italian flag was born).     This suited our needs perfectly for our trip. Easy parking, nice hotel.

    Business trip to Reggio for a factory visit, ideally situated on the outskirts of town, with parking outside the hotel which was free (but very busy) Hotel itself was pleasant, some confusion with our booking as we booked with breakfast, but this didn’t come through on our booking. However the hotel honoured it and gave us our breakfast. Has a cozy little bar also, with a friendly waiter who does a nice Irish coffee with baileys. Only negative is that the beds were quite hard, not the most comfortable to sleep on. Appreciate this is a matter of personal preference so still think the hotel is good, just not quite perfect for me.

    Welcoming and smiling staff. Good sized rooms. Very nice and clean both bathroom and room. Good bed and bed linen. Very quiet, so good sleep quality.Excellent location - in walking distance to most major sites. Minibus Linea M goes between the old railway station and the new High Speed Train Station Mediopadana. I travelled t/r the old station, but took the bus out to Mediopadana just to see it. Well worth.     Excellent hotel and excellent staff. Perfectly renovated rooms in perfect order with all amenities present. Nice views, good airconditioning, rain shower, bar. Stayed a week and was very pleasantly surprised. Great location too, at a park and near the very center of Reggio, a quaint and beautiful town. Would definitely return, also when traveling to Bologna, Modena or Parma. This town and the Mercure Astoria are highly recommended.

    A good hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a simple choice, but should suit most people, nice to see a choice of fresh fruit on offer. Close by the centre and accessible to restaurants, bars and shops.
