First, I want to mention that the staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, we were allowed to check in 2 and a half hours early which was absolutely wonderful.However, I feel I have to point out a couple of issues that I wish I had known about before or should have paid more attention to:1) The hotel is in the industrial area of Padova - very far from thr city center. Good location, nice personnel and quick check-in.BUT: extremely loud rooms (no special windows to block noise or highway next to hotel), and in about 500+ nights in hotels in my life did I never have such a filthy room. Stick floor, dirt in all corners, bathroom disgusting. Even for a cheap 3 Star a complete failure. The Tulip Inn is in the middle of an industrial estate. It is unsuitable for travellers without cars as the bus services to and from town stops at 8.20pm with a reduced weekend service. In the area there are no places to eat and the hotel does not offer breakfast or dinner every day. It took me 2.5 hours to walk to the train station. Taxis cost around €17. We were only there for a night. We have a quadruple room which is separated through a sliding door. At check in time the room were ready, it was clean and okay. The kettle was there with instant coffee, tea, sugar and 2 paper cups. More you could ask at the reception. At night the room with the twin bed were suddenly smell like cigarette.
