Miserable little hotel with a great location and free parking

  08 May 2026

I traveled here with friends. I was booked into a single room. It reminded me of my dorm room in college. Teeny tiny. Bed was uncomfortable pillow gross. They put plastic up on the walls by the bed to keep the side clean. There is nothing positive. I can say about this place at all. Location and free parking is the only positive.I traveled here with friends. I was booked into a single room. It reminded me of my dorm room in college. Teeny tiny. GREAT value with free parking, good location and great breakfast

This hotel is SUCH a great value, why would you stay anyplace else in Modena. It's a short walk to the main area which is quite nice. Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast.Forget a glass of wine at the bar, though. Coke and beer probably all that's good there. This hotel is SUCH a great value, why would you stay anyplace else in Modena. It's a short walk to the main area which is quite nice. Estense Hotel has a perfect location just in the edge of historic centre, 4 min.from bus station (I took a direct bus from Bologna Airport) and ab.15 min.walk from Train Station. Also per… Read moreI used this hotel for my trip to Bologna, actually, because the prices in Bologna were ridiculous! And it was a good decision indeed. Comfortable stay in Modena

  10 Oct 2024

Hotel Estense is located in the heart of Modena town walking distance from the Duomo and central shopping area. The rooms were comfortable albeit small, and basic amenities such as hot water and a kettle were provided. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty, and the staff was courteous. Would recommend this place for a comfortable stay in Modena.Hotel Estense is located in the heart of Modena town walking distance from the Duomo and central shopping area.
