Do not stay here before April 15th

We stayed here from 5-7th April. However we were not informed when booking that the policy in this hotel is to not activate the air conditioning until 15th of April. Consequently the rooms were boiling hot and we had to sleep with the windows open, this resulted in both my wife and I being devoured by mosquitoes and both covered in bites. The staff told us there was nothing they could do and upon complaining to the company we were told. This is standard procedure in Italy during the “transition season”. So please check with wherever you stay to see if this is the case and DO NOT stay at this hotel before 15th April if you want a good and safe nights sleep.

Hotel ReviewWe booked a more expensive room (21 sqm) expecting more space, as comfort was important to us. While the room was clean, it turned out to be very cramped, and the actual space did not match expectations based on the stated size.The mattresses and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable, and the old wooden windows add to the discomfort.We booked 7 nights via Agoda and asked reception about changing the room or clarifying the room size. We were told that all rooms are the same, and no alternative was offered.Seven nights in such a small room was not comfortable, especially considering we paid extra for a larger room.Pros: excellent location, clean towels, overall cleanliness.Cons: room size, uncomfortable beds, old windows, lack of flexibility from staff.

The receptionists were great ! Very friendly and kindEspecially Masha and Fernando where the best !!!!A very clean hotel and so quiet at night!I will choose it again for sure!

Noise rattles the building from 6:30am with hammering, drilling and grinding!Reception insist they have no control over this however it is their motel that is under renovation. Took the elevator to the floor above where the noise comes from to confirm. Rooms smell of smoke, insects throughout the room. Don't stay here unless you want poor service and facilities and staff who tell you to email your complaint and take no accountability!

Comfortable, Conveniently-Located Hotel in Milan

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the Milan train station. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted, all our details confirmed and check in was very easy. The staff are amazing … when we asked about a good restaurant nearby (there are many!) we were escorted to an excellent restaurant by one of the staff … it was a busy Saturday evening and we didn’t have reservations. There is a pleasant outdoor area to sit quietly and read or enjoy a drink. While this isn’t a fancy hotel, it’s a perfect, convenient spot to use as a home base while you explore all Milan has to offer.
