Lovely hotel on the shores of Lake Garda. Room 212 has a great view of the lake and gardens. It was spacious and clean with a balcony for watching the boats on the lake.The breakfast selection was varied and replenished as required.All the staff were friendly yet professional. The hotel is located above the main road around Lago Maggiore. The view from the room is gorgeous. However, if you open the windows, you will have car noise. Great location if you want peace, quietness and views. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and even own beach. Without a car it’s a little remote - half a mile to few shops, station and ferry stop (we missed the last ferry of the year in mid September) However, hourly bus service to Stresa (15 min ride)which is the main ferry stop, bit tricky returning if you miss the bus, taxis few and far between.Love… Great location if you want peace, quietness and views. We booked a room with a view of the stunning lake.Room was comfortable and clean with an easy to access walk in shower which is now an essential for us.Relaxing pool area where we could sit but we chose mainly to swim and then use the convenient changing hut before returning to our room.
