Just on the Lago Maggiore and 25 minutes drive from Malpensa airport. In a quiet village that offers everything, from many places to eat, shops and gas stations! Friendly and helpful staff also. Old fashioned rooms but they are big, comfortable and clean! Free private parking for every room, just outside, was very helpful. Also they offered us 4 small (2 sparkling, 2 non sparkling) bottles of wate… Just on the Lago Maggiore and 25 minutes drive from Malpensa airport. Our EasyJet flight to Gatwick had to divert to Milan due to an issue and we were forced to spend the night in Milan. We were eventually found a room at the Blue Relais in Maggiore. It is a motel style hotel, with a king-sized bed which only had a sheet, there were no blankets or quilts available, the room was cold despite the wall fan heater being on all night. Stayed there with my wife for one night and it was very good. Check-in was easy , room was large and clean, bathroom as well. It's motel type and you can leave your car in front of the room which is awesome. Easy with the luggage:) Breakfast could be better though - it's pretty basic. Blue Relais Maggiore Sento,Reason for this stay was a month work in Sento.My travel agent booked a month and payed in advance. Well it is no hotel but a motel only used by overnight travellers mostly motor drivers and people who arrive past midnight for just a few hours. Walls are thin, beds are hard and protected with plastic sheets. Amazing welcome at 00:30; perfect parking directly outside the room. Quiet, clean and ideal in terms of room.
