We were both impressed with this hotel. The staff at all times were courteous and helpful and prepared to listen to my imperfect Italian with patience. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very comprehensive and of excellent quality - I can’t really think of anything else that could have been offered to guests at breakfast. Great place to unwind at the end of an Italian vacation
A perfect place to unwind at the end of our Italian trip, which included a week in the Florence countryside and Venice. This place felt like the Jersey Shore in the fall- not much going on. We arrived in late September, so many of the beach clubs were closed. The hotel has an arrangement with a beach club across the street. Horrible, Subpar Hotel Experience!
Luckily, we only stayed here as part of a charitable auction package to see Bocelli. But from check-in to check-out, it was a disaster! The welcome at the reception was inhospitable and rude. They could not find our reservation and acted like it was our fault and a huge inconvenience to find it. Just terrible. When finally assigning us a room, they said it was one of the best. Please!
