Good breakfast - fair walk from the city walls.

About a 20 min walk to the walls of Lucca, although there is a bus stop on the McDonalds side and you can get a bus to within the city walls in about 5 mins for €1. The buses stop running pretty early so expect to walk or taxi back late at night. There were plenty of tourists staying, but this felt more like a business hotel. No tea/coffee/kettle in the room. Overall a nice place to stay. Was clean, nice bathrooms and updated lobby and room, lift quite dated. Next to a McDonalds and a supermarket so very convenient. Private parking behind the hotel. Netflix, Amazon and YouTube apps on the TV’s, aircon in rooms and friendly staff. However if you are a light sleeper or sleep late, the McDonalds can get loud in the evening, but no real issue. Located just outside the highway, the hotel is provided with a large parking area. A bit of a magical mystery tour walking from Lucca Station but I soon got the hang of it.Nice clean rooms and a good breakfast.As someone alluded to a supermarket next door but there is a better one a bit further up the road for provisions.No Tea and Coffee facilities in the Room but they have a machine in the foyer for a few Euros in an honesty box.
