A very nice hotel outside the city walls with free parking! We left our car and walked to Lucca everyday! The room was large, clean, with very helpful staff! Highly recommend! “grand” hotel? - hardly!

This hotel is a “tired” Best Western located over a mile out of Lucca. It has no facilities such as a pool etc and when we were there - as a Saga Group - the food was extremely poor. This might be because of the budget they are given but you don’t expect to come to Italy and be so poorly fed! Stayed here with friends for a short break to take in Florence and Pisa. Well located for both and a cab ride away from Luca, a lovely, walled town with great shops and restaurants.
