Walls were falling. Mold everywhere. many small bugs walking around. there was a strong fume inside our rome that smelled weird and is probably why they was selling cologne to put in your room in the reception. there was also mold in the shower head which is suprising because i bet it would cost them 10usd to purchase a new one. On the positive side, the hotel is ideally situated where it's a short walk to the beach, shops, a bank, bars & restaurants, etc., and it's a 20 minute walk to the train station into Rome. A few of the staff were helpful and friendly but several have forgotten their customer service training, including how to smile. Day trip via train to Ladispoli beautiful black sand beaches. Walked the beach then stopped in at Hotel Villa Margherita, reservation only but kind staff seated us. First of all, we ordered a room for 4 people, but when we arrived we just got a small two-person-room with two extra beds crammed in. Secondly, there were only two plugs that were strong enough to charge things, which was very annoying. We plugged out the prehistorically old TV to get a 3th plug, though that wasn’t very handy. If that wasn’t bad enough for you, believe me it gets worse.
