Great hotel, great location
We loved this boutique hotel. Staff was wonderful. Location was ideal. There was a lovely lounge and bar inside, but we spent a lot of time on their great terrace. On arrival in Monterrosso on Monday 28 September, vi train from Milano, we were greeted by the wonderful, intelligent gentleman Guillermo. He was so helpful and informative. The Room was splendid. I rarely leave hotel reviews, but the service at this hotel was so wonderful that I wanted to make sure I let everyone know. It’s a perfect place to stay when visiting Cinque Terre. Extremely disappointing stay and poor customer service
We stayed at Hotel Margarita in Monterosso for three nights and, unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had.Our room was a disabled-access room with virtually no natural daylight a small window on to an alley with bars at the window, making it feel dark, brown and very gloomy. This hotel has exceeded our expectations and we are so happy we found it. It is on the quieter side of Monterosso but also very close and easy to access all the Restaraunts, beaches, and train station. The hotel is very clean and we felt at home.
