Not on the Rivera. Not even close.
Don't choose this hotel if you are expecting it to be close to the city. It isn't. There isn't anything within walking distance other than a coop. It's used mainly as a drop of point for the ferries. Other than that it's perfect. IHG Service, Owner at Holiday Inn Genoa City by IHG, responded to this review Hi Chris B,Thank you for staying at Holiday Inn Genoa City. Clean, inexpensive suite with full kitchen
Clean, inexpensive suite with full kitchen, near port and two supermarkets. Secure parking. Good for passing through Genoa on your way to somewhere else.Clean, inexpensive suite with full kitchen, near port and two supermarkets. Secure parking. Great food nice rooms - car parking too
We had a one nighter here and it was pleasant and reasonably priced. We tried the a le carte menu and were very pleasantly surprised- my Caesar salad was really good - great sauce and they changed my order to breaded chicken- my wife’s pasta was really good too and the service was charming. We had a one nighter here and it was pleasant and reasonably priced. Functional hotel with exceptional and caring staff
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Genoa City for one night, and while the hotel itself is quite functional, the service truly stood out.The rooms are functional and causy, and the location is not central - it felt a bit deserted in the evening. However, we arrived very late (around 10 PM) after being stuck for hours in a massive traffic jam in a Genoa tunnel. We hadn't eaten since lunch and were exhaust… I stayed at the Holiday Inn Genoa City for one night, and while the hotel itself is quite functional, the service truly stood out.The rooms are functional and causy, and the location is not central - it felt a bit deserted in the evening.
