This is NOT a 4* Hotel!
The external appearance of the hotel is stunning, its location is fantastic and it has off road parking and a cute little roof top swimming pool albeit NO pool towels. This sadly is terrible value for money, it charges a premium but, whilst some rooms have been refurbished many are very old and super small they’re uncomfortable. Breakfast was made as cheaply as possible, coffee machine is coffee p… The external appearance of the hotel is stunning, its location is fantastic and it has off road parking and a cute little roof top swimming pool albeit NO pool towels. Pricing doesn’t match the standard
Our recent stay at Grand Albergo in Sestri Levante was a mixed bag — undeniably charming in some areas but left us wondering if the premium price tag truly reflects the value.?? The Positives1. Excellent BreakfastThe breakfast buffet was generous and well-curate… Our recent stay at Grand Albergo in Sestri Levante was a mixed bag — undeniably charming in some areas but left us wondering if the premium price tag truly reflects the value.?? Highly recommend
A very gracious and comfortable hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend the excellent restaurant. Especially liked the effort with all the indoor plants. Great location for touring Genova & Cinque Terra or just local walks.A very gracious and comfortable hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend the excellent restaurant. Old Dame in need of attention
Once she must have been magnificent. She looks shabby and tired now. Almost everything beyond the lovely entrance lobby needs updating and cleaning up. Carpets worn and stained, Air con noisy and malfunctioning. The location is splendid as is the entrance and the staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is disappointing. Plastic cups for water and juice. More plastic for the tiny honey sachets.… Once she must have been magnificent. She looks shabby and tired now. Adequate accommodation in a dated hotel
The word that kept occurring to me about this hotel is "adequate". By that I mean that it provided us with what we wanted but without any flair at all. The reception staff were polite but distant and the hotel was clean and functional but somewhat dated. Our room was perfect, with a balcony and side sea view, and the staff at breakfast were wonderful, probably the best asset of the hotel. However,… The word that kept occurring to me about this hotel is "adequate". By that I mean that it provided us with what we wanted but without any flair at all.
