An exquisite, unique hotel
An absolutely beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff in a great location. Walking in you can feel what it must have been like to be here in the early 1900's in the center of art nouveau. Just taking a walk thru the hotel before a visit to the rooftop bar as he sun goes down is a magical experience. Breakfast was fantastic (the meringue cookies are amazing). And every member of their team was (a… An absolutely beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff in a great location. Five star old charm
We stayed in 2 rooms for five nights. Originally we booked NH hotel but since we were travelling by train we discovered it will be a long walk with the luggage which is okay on flat surface but Genova is city centre is not for car traffic and as result, taxi would have costed us 70 euros to get there which was totally unreasonable. So on a day we switched to Savoia which is 90 meters from the trai… We stayed in 2 rooms for five nights. A decent 'grand' old hotel
As the "Grand" in the name suggests, this is an older hotel and so some guests might find it a bit dated. However, it has been well kept up and the public areas on the ground floor are definitely grand. The rooftop terrace bar offers a good view over the city and the port, and has an extensive cocktail menu. The room was comfortable and quiet. Staff were professional and friendly, at reception, in… As the "Grand" in the name suggests, this is an older hotel and so some guests might find it a bit dated.
