We just returned from Regina Elena after a two week holiday. The hotel was very good value for money compared to other hotels in Santa Margarita. We were in room 537 which had a view of the greenery. The annex building could be tidied up not pleasant to look at. Room was clean and comfortable. Quirky balcony but we loved it. Room small but fine. Just returned from 10 day break at the hotel. Brilliant facilities and location but what made the holiday were the staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Ten minute walk to the centre of town. I went for dinner and I was very disappointed in the service and quality of the food, The Caesar salad was inedible, over dressed, and soggy. No staff member seemed to care about or ask if anything was wrong. When it came to dessert, I never received what I originally ordered.
