This hotel is in a great location. Close to train, metro and walking distance to harbor. Room was good, and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Just one thing - the bathroom is very small. It has a shower, sink, bidet and then the toilet is shoved in the corner, next to bidet, with a wall right in front of it. A small child might be able to squeeze in and sit on it straight, but anyone over 5 ft. has to sit on it sidewise with knees against the bidet. i measured - there is slightly less then 6 inches from front of toilet to the wall. It was very uncomfortable - so be aware of this before you book! Oh, and breakfast was good. Right next to Genoa train station. Very friendly reception staff always helpful and multilingual. Breakfast had the best scrambled eggs of our trip and was also the best value. Good range of options. Some rooms might hear occasional sirens at night despite the effective double glazing so not five stars for that reason.

We stayed one night before a cruise. The hotel was literally a minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the cruise port. The girl who checked us in was very pleasant and friendly and gave us recommendations for restaurants. There were lots of food and gelato a few steps away. The room was comfortable, quiet and the typical bare bones for a European hotel. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend! Very friendly and helpful people at the reception, clean, great location. Actually, everything was fine. I have just one suggestion. A luggage rack would be useful for guests. At least in the room where we stayed.
