Famous sightseeing attractions, such as the Medici Chapel, the Basilica di Santa Maria Novella and the market quarter of San Lorenzo lie within easy reach of the hotel. The hotel was built in 1600. The hotel has 90 rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     Amazing Hotel, Amazing Location! 5* all round

    Just returned from a 4 day city break in Florence and this hotel did not disappoint. We booked the terrace room with private jacuzzi and the views were absolutely breathtaking, the hotel is gorgeous, well kept and the staff are some of the most polite and helpful I have come across on a city break. The hotel itself is right in the middle of Florence centre yet once in your room there is no outside noise, minutes walk from the main site seeing attraction, gorgeous Italian bars and restaurants with lots to do and see. The train station is also only a 10 minute walk which is amazing for grabbing a day trip to Pisa ( return ticket € 18.40pp) which takes 50mins if you catch the fast train, once you get to Pisa station the leaning tower is less then a 10 min walk! Could not find any fault with this trip. If you love truffle head to Le Cappelle Medicee for the most delicious spinach and ricotta ravioli in truffle sauce!     Great hotel with excellent location

    This hotel is a five minute walk from the train station and only 10 minutes walk from the Duomo. The staff are absolutely wonderful, the breakfast is varied and of great quality. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small terrace. The roof terrace is being refurbished but can still be visited for views. We had a great stay and are planning to return.     Fantastic stay, perfectly located for exploring

    We arrived late on Friday - less than 10 minute walk from the train station. The road is bustling, lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. Our room was lovely, view from the room was of scaffolding in an inner courtyard, but we were out all day anyway. We did go up to the roof terrace to see the view of the outstanding Florentine landscape, and it was just beautiful. There are some remedial works taking place on the terrace, so it couldn’t be used other than for the view.The breakfast is pretty standard European breakfast, something for everyone to choose from. 15 minute walk to the Duomo, a little more down to the Uffizi.Would definitely recommend staying here.     An absolute fabulous room with a view

    This hotel is perfectly central and was such a lovely place to stay. We has a room with a balcony, and I am so glad we did. We had breakfast everyday looking over the Duomo and Central market. In the evening with a glass of fizz listening to the sounds of Florence by night. If you are lucky you get to watch the sky change colour, A Rayleigh scattering, it's the most amazing sight.The hotel staff are so lovely and helpful. Very can help you with a map and directions to wherever you want to go. We just used Google and as you wander you just see such wonderful things.A great value hotel. My must would be go out of season and definitely get a balcony.     Gem of a Hotel

    This really is a gem of a hotel — we couldn’t fault it. We stayed in January, and for that time of year the value for money compared to other hotels in the area was exceptional. The rooms are generously sized for an Italian hotel so close to the city centre, the breakfast was a standout (both quality and variety) and the staff were genuinely great throughout our stay.
