  This was our third time staying here. Good sized rooms, with a fridge and - usually - a working safe. Everything is spotlessly clean.I asked for, and got, a room far from the lifts. This is important, because corridor noise carries into the rooms.The breakfast is excellent and the breakfast-room staff, Giacomo especially, are really helpful. The double espressos are the best in Italy.Soundproofing between rooms is excellent. Corridor noise does travel though and doors bang loudly.I was a bit disappointed with the hotel this time. I booked direct, saving the hotel the fees charged by hotel reservation sites. But I got a room where the safe is not anchored to anything. And it was locked. I went to reception and got the override code. It didn’t work. I asked for a change of room. I was told the hotel was full. A returning guest who chooses to book directly should always enjoy a seamless experience, and I regret that we fell short of that standard. I will personally ensure that all safes are properly installed and that internal procedures are reviewed with the staff.I am pleased to know that many aspects of your stay still reflected the comfort and atmosphere you have appreciated in the past, and I will gladly pass your kind words to Giacomo and the breakfast team.Your observations regarding corridor noise and door closings are also noted; improvements are already being carried out to enhance overall comfort.I truly hope you will reconsider and allow us the opportunity to restore the trust you have shown us in your previous visits.   The hotel was in a fantastic location. The room we were assigned was nice and clean. The staff were great. A special shout-out goes to Désirée and Siria. They were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist us - be it in recommending restaurants to dine at, sights to see and even reassigning us another room when we commented the air con in the earlier room was not so cold.A shout-out also goes out to Nabil, the Night Concierge on duty. He was most helpful earlier this morning when we checked out of the hotel and the airport transfer was nowhere in sight. He went out of his way to check through the records, locate the driver's contact details and telephoned him. Not to mention he also managed to get us two cups of Espresso and 2 bananas - at 5.00 am!!All the staff mentioned above are a credit to the hotel. Thank you so much.   We stayed here before in September 2023. It is as good as we remembered. Almost beside the Este castle, close to restaurants.Very quiet. Last time, our room didn’t have a safe. This time it did.The AC doesn’t cool the room. We had the same issue last time. It was quite warm at night, but not uncomfortable. I’d hate to think how uncomfortable it would be in high summer.Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Both were a good size.   Fabulous Ferrara Experience

  This hotel is really well located in the historical centre, two minutes walk to the Castello d'Este. All attractions are within easy walking distance. It is clean and comfortable. The reception staff are fabulous and very helpful. The breakfast is just lovely!   Top Staff - Top Breakfast - Top Location

  This is the kind of place I like because its great value, does exactly what it says on the tin and tries to go the extra mile.Fabulous reception staff, very helpful and knowledgable - note to the Hotel Manger, give those ladies a pat on the back or better still a raise :-).Rooms were good, nice shower, perfect for our needs. Breakfast was probably the best of our trip.Parking close by (free on Sunday) but gets taken up quickly, its a tricky place for Waze to find for some reason as its on a road parrallel to the main road so beware. You are very close to all the sites so you dont need the car. We enjoyed Ferrara and we enjoyed the hotel.Would I go back and stay there?
