  Absolutely ridiculous dinner.Iceberg lettuce served for a salad starter.Main courses served 10 minutes apart.Only vegetarian option was a omelette with cheese and spinach which tasted awful.Very poor value.To be fair the gentleman did well to serve us but the food served was very poor.   Very hard to find anything positive to say, staff are incompetent and border on intentionally unhelpful. Rooms are worse than basic - TV's with no plug, beds left with no pillows. The real icing on the cake are the meals - fries that taste and look like they were cooked a week earlier, very poor waiter service and half defrosted profiteroles the size of tennis balls looking like they've been scraped off the local dog path.   We came hear with no notice to the hotel , the lady at the front desk was very kind to us and waited until we finish ower preperation .The hotel is very good, big rooms big shower.We had a very good and satisfing breakfast .The view from the window i like a poastcard - amazingThis hotel is very very recomended

  Let's start by emphasizing that this negative review of Hotel Piaz in Pere di Fassa should not hit the people who work there. They do what they can and they were polite and helpful to us ... but they work at a hotel that has the character of fraud.We paid 130 euros per night for two, stayed here during the high season in August for a room with breakfast. A room that is 11 square meters with a narrow double bed and one small window high up. Like in a prison cell. Somewhere on Tripadvisor the hotel claims that they meet the two-star hotel minimum standard of 12 square meter. But they obviously don’t.The breakfast is a scandal. Terrible bread, industrial ham of the cheapest kind, and it would be an insult to call the cheese cheese. Coffee on a machine. Yes, the hotel is two star. But a little further down the road is a three star hotel, and according to this 3 Star hotel's own price list, you can get a room with half board (!!!) for 140 euros for two people. We have checked the rooms there ... and for the 10 euros more you get a large double room with a kingsize bed, your own balcony with nice view, good furniture. And a breakfast, which can only be classes better ... and on top of that the evening meal is paid every day.Okay, but is Piaz scam? Yes, because when booking a room here it is impossible to see what standard room you get. The website looks ok, but it's very hard to figure out what to get. And you have to pay in advance.We guess that's because they do not want to risk people leaving the hotel before time.As far as we can see, the hotel is mainly used by large groups, and they surely get big discounts. Individual travelers pay the full over-price for something that is really a hotel factory where quantity is more important than quality. But we didn’t realize that when we booked in April.Sorry, folks, at hotel Piaz. But that’s how we feel.

  We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and to be honest, we'll never come back. 1. We got the number with the broken window. We could not close it completely, so it was extremely cold in our room. We've been told that the hotel is fully packed so there is no chance we can change the room. Lady at the reception was extremely nice and really tried to help, but we did not get the room anyways. 2. The room is very basic. It's small, with few furniture: bed, table, closet, chair. That's it. Oh, and btw the hot water ends really fast, so after few mins you're showering in cold water, besides it's tiny. You can't literaly turn around.3. The breakfast is mediocre. You don't have any good food, and if you come after 9 am, you have leftovers, they don't bring up new food I suppose. Besides, the man serving breakfast is extremely rude. Once we came for breakfast and took vacant table. When he saw that he got angry, took our plates and threw them on other table nearby. That was extremely rude. He did not speak English, so we still wondering what did we do wrong. Anyways, that can't be called a good service. To summarize: look for another options nearby.
