We enjoyed a three-night stay at the Caesar Augustus in late September. Excellent all around, as usual. The hotel has been purchased by Gruppo Statuto Group and they closed a month early this year to begin renovations. Statuto Group has selected Four Seasons to operate the hotel, so the renovations should be first class. My husband and I traveled all around Italy for 2 weeks recently. And our last stop was the Caesar Augustus Hotel. Oh. My. Gosh. This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The room is not necessarily my style but who cares, the balcony with the view was just breathtaking. Literally could take your breath away, it's so high up!
