What 4* hotel has no usb/ power points by the beds these days? The “facilities” include a wifi which ran so slow as to be useless & we were forced to use 5G. You cannot change the a/c any colder than 22deg. When we went into the room there were crumbs on a tray (see photo) and black mould in the bath. Also area of carpet are threadbare. Perfectly delivered what we needed, a comfortable stay over with easy access to the train station and city combined. THIS HOTEL IS HUGE! It reminded me of a resort-style hotel with two wings. Palm trees and pond in the middle – not a swimming pool. Huge reception area with lots of seats, staff and a concierge. Easy and pleasant 10-15 mins walk to the centre of town. Breakfast is €15 a night. Alternatively there is an Aldi very close by to the right. Fantastic hotel, and a real throwback to a time before hotels became bland and generic. The rooms were spotless, the beds extremely comfortable, and all of the staff were brilliant, friendly and courteous.All in all, I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough.
