Excellent location, bathroom a disappointment in superior level room

This hotel is a great location, near everything in center of the city. The staff is very nice and speaks perfect English. The breakfast is also excellent. The big downside for us was the bathroom. We had a superior level room paying on average $650 USD per night. The shower had no shelf to put our own soap and shampoo and it was teensie, tiny shower anyway. No grab bar either. Great staff but poor hotel

I would give this hotel 1 star if it weren’t for the wonderful staff. The reception team were so lovely and helpful. After seeing my first room which was a dank, dark and scruffy room the team tried to help find a solution by showing me other rooms. Unfortunately, none of the other rooms were much better and one shown to me on the ground floor was horribly dark.
