Clean room and wonderful staff. The breakfast was also very good. We had read previous mixed reviews and were most amazed at how lovely our stay here ended up. We stayed in the main area and it was a great location for eating and shopping. Excellent hotel. The welcome by Maris was warm but professional. We were lucky to get an upgrade, our suite was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful four night stay at the fabulous Hotel Corona d'Oro 1890 in Bolgna. The hotel is beautiful and offers everything you need, located right at the heart of the city with everything within walking distance, but the very best part was the staff. They are truly wonderful and kind. Was delighted to find this perfectly located hotel in the old city. I can’t say enough about the staff who took care of every little thing. Genuine and kind. Room was lovely and well appointed. Many restaurants a short walk away, and close to the breathtaking historic Centro. Will note that there was major refurbishment going on at the time, though my weekend stay was not affected much.
