The first receptionist was arrogant and unhelpful, the floor in the room was sticky and dirty(spilled coffee from previous guests, fingernails on the bathroom floor, mold in the showers). There is nothing close by so one must eat at the restaurant, service was good but the food was horrible, in some cases very misleading about the type of food. Our travel advisor recommended the hotel Bologna airport for our stay just prior to our departure from Italy. These staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. We especially enjoyed the bar for coffee and breakfast, and had a great dinner in the hotel restaurant. Our server, Joanne, was great, and made us feel welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed talking to her.
